This documents contains history logs for LMD ElPack 6.0 releases.

Beta 1 Release Notes
The first beta was made available mainly for testing new shared structure (lmd/lmdrtlx packages) which are common for all LMD 2007 products. Besides functionality of installers we are mainly interested in:
- Compatibility (please check also Updating existing projects) topic
- C++ Builder compatibility
- Testing of new features (native XML, PNG, RegEx engine support, new theme engine, new HTMLRenderer etc.)
- Any severe showstoppers which block you from working with LMD VCL 2007 controls
You should know:
- LMD ElPack is package freezed, but not feature freezed. Some parts are missing (e.g. ThemeEngine has some tweaks and need to be tested with more .msstyles files).
- Demos are not overworked yet (except the new common ones in LMDRTLX demo folder)
- Helpfiles are not finished yet.
- VCL.NET port is not finished yet.
Disclaimer:
This is beta software, so please do not use these packages with production code, only with backups of your projects!
In addition you can not run LMD2003 and LMD2007 releases at the same time. However using our Packutil freeware tool you can easily switch between different package collections.
We are very interested in any form of feedback, especially for experiences in updating existing projects. Please use public groups on LMD Newsserver for any reports or feedback.
